The Invisible Smoke Counters

Some smoke you can see. Most of it you can't.

When cars drive, when lights turn on, when factories make things, an invisible gas called carbon dioxide floats up into the sky. Too much of it makes our planet too warm.

Here's the tricky part: how do you fix something you can't see?

You count it!

The UAE built a special counting system. It works in three steps, like a game:

Measure — Every company counts how much invisible gas it makes. How much fuel did the trucks use? How much electricity did the building use? Write it all down.

Report — Everyone sends their numbers to one big scoreboard, so the whole country can see the total.

Verify — Checkers make sure nobody made a mistake. Just like a teacher checks your maths!

When you count something, you can shrink it. If a company sees its number is big, it can switch to solar power or electric trucks — and watch the number get smaller every year.

Your planet, your 2050:

🟢 Everyone counts carefully, the numbers shrink, and by 2050 the sky's invisible smoke is going down, down, down.

🟡 Some count, some forget, and the numbers only shrink a little.

🔴 Nobody counts, nobody knows, and the invisible smoke keeps growing.

Counting is a superpower. What gets counted gets fixed.
